MARY “MARLENE” DOBRICH

Mary “Marlene” Dobrich, 80, of Bethesda Ohio passed away surrounded by her family at her home on August 11, 2023. She was born October 17, 1942 in Eldon, Ohio to the late Cecil and Lucille (Meighan) Phillips.

Marlene was a warm, outgoing person who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an enthusiastic gardener who took great pride in her flowers. She enjoyed spending time on her porch watching the wildlife, enjoying her flowers and admiring the picturesque view of the Bethesda Reservoir. Marlene was an avid traveler and enjoyed taking trips in the motorhome with her husband, Nick. She took delight in shopping for her home and family and had a knack for always finding a bargain.

In addition to her three brothers, Marlene was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Brown; and two son- in-laws, Chuck Gallagher and Rick Fowkes.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Nick Dobrich; daughters, Karen Gallagher (Bill Provencher), Kathy Fowkes; Jeannette Dobrich; sons, Steven (Shirlena) Dobrich, Eric (Pattie) Dobrich; grandchildren, Jacob (Emily) Gallagher, Jarrod Gallagher, Jillian Gallagher, Dustin (Mallory) Fowkes, Dylan (Katie) Fowkes; Jordan Dobrich, Elizabeth (Jack) Sall, and Ben (Jacqueline) Dobrich; great-granchildren, Harriet, Julia, Keaton, Elliot, Genevieve, Emarie, Leah, Connor, Cheyenne and Madeline.

Visitation will be on Wed, Aug. 16, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 N Main St, Bethesda, OH 43719. The funeral service will be held on Thurs, Aug. 17, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh. Burial will follow at the Friends Cemetery in Quaker City.
