BERNADINE “BERNIE” BURK
Bernadine (Bernie) Burk 74, of Delaware, Ohio died September 24, 2023, at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Dublin, Ohio. She was born November 18, 1948, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio to the late Sheldon C. Green and Hazel Green Congalton.
Bernie was an employee of the former Imperial Glass Corporation where she was secretary to the Director of Marketing Services for 10 years. She retired from Highmark West Virginia Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wheeling, WV where she worked for 26 years. She was a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church in Lansing, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Rev. John R. Congalton , stepbrother J. David Congalton.
Surviving are her husband F. Clifford Burk, son Duane Burk his wife Maria, grandson Kyle Burk, granddaughter Kayla (Matthew) Klugh, all of Delaware, Ohio step niece Phoebe Morad, Theodora, and Samson Morad.
Family and Friends will be received to pay tribute to Bernie and celebrate her life on Thursday, September 28, 2023, 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bridgeport, Ohio 43912. The funeral service will be Friday, September 29, 2023, at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. John Jackson officiating. A burial will follow at Maple Shade Cemetery in Independence, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lansing United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 412, Lansing, Ohio 43934, in memory of Bernadine Burk.
