Bernice Rowley, age 101, of Canton, OH, formerly of Barnesville, OH, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. She was born on July 8, 1922, a daughter of the late Clemence and Emma (Butler) Burkhart.
A graduate of Barnesville High School, she worked at Lotus Glass and retired in 1988 from Barnesville Hospital, where she was a LPN for 38 years. She was a member of the Senior Citizen Center, as well as a member of the Cedar T.W.I.G of Barnesville Hospital.
Bernice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hubert Rowley; sister, Audrey Bell; and brothers, Elwood, Harold and Kenneth Burkhart.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Albert) DePasquale; grandson, Albert DePasquale; and two great-granddaughters, Rebecca and Gabrielle DePasquale, all of Canton, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Holly Memorial Gardens, 73360 Pleasant Grove Rd. Colerain, Ohio 43916, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Ed Eberthart officiating.
