JOHN DELLER
John R. Deller, 88 of Martins Ferry, passed away October 1, 2023, at East Regional Hospital Long Term Care. He was born August 29, 1935, in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late John H. and Margaret A. (Gumbar) Deller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard Deller.
John was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville Plant, a member of the St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain, the Knights of Columbus of the Church, and a life member of the N.R.A.
Surviving is his loving wife, Anna J. (Myers) Deller, children, John R. (Lesa) Deller II, Sharon L. Deller, grandchildren, Kimberly (Joseph) Braden, John (Theresa) Deller III, Shannon Jackson and Dale (Kristin) Jackson, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren 4 great-great grandchildren, and a sister Margaret Barber.
Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, Ohio on Wednesday October 4, 2023, from 4-8 pm, with wake service at 4 pm at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 am at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain with Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
