RICHARD WILSON
Richard J. “Rick” Wilson, 68, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at his home. He was born July 30, 1955 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Albert L. Sr. and Ruth Johnson Wilson.
Rick was an employee of Blaw Knox Foundry for 20 years and retired from Covestro LLC of New Martinsville, West Virginia in 2019. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a member of Weyer Lodge 541 F & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Steubenville, Osiris Shrine, El Tor Grotto, Lansing Sportsman Club, Cave Club and Me-MMA. But most of all, he was known by his neighbors as “The Mayor of Morningside Drive”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half brother, Albert L. Wilson, Jr.
Surviving are his loving wife, Judy A. Brzney Wilson of St. Clairsville; his children, Katie (Ben) Wilson-Mitchell of Houston, Texas and a son TJ (Missy) Miller of Newark, New York; a sister, Ellen Hudy of Fairpoint, Ohio; grand- children, Kyle Miller, Tessa Miller and Layla Naschke; and Baby Mitchell on the way, a nephew Ben Beatty, a niece Kristen Jackson; two great nieces and one great nephew.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 am until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11 am. at St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Clairsville with Fr. Thomas Chillog as celebrant. Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Clairsville Food Pantry or St. Mary School both of St. Clairsville.
