RUTH MILHOAN
Ruth Marie Milhoan, 90, of Belmont, Ohio, peacefully passed away at Liza’s Place on October 2, 2023. She was born on the farm on October 20, 1932 to the late Gladys Watson.
Ruth was a devout Catholic homemaker and farmer of cattle. She was a talented woman who showed loving kindness to everyone. Her home- made jellies and jams won first place. She crocheted and sewed gifts including Barbie clothes and tree skirts. She loved her grand- children. She enjoyed making them exquisite Christmas ornaments of the finest detail. She was a big fan of Western shows starring Matt Dillon. Ruth was a gardener who loved cooking, baking, and her family. She was also a genealogist that loved stories and history.
Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband and partner, Wayne Milhoan and daughter, Shirley Marie Shumaker.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, David (Betty) Milhoan, Robert (Dena) Milhoan; grandchildren, Brandon (Chrissy) Milhoan, Ashley Milhoan, Veronica (Jeff) Stephens, Brittany McMahon, Cory (Ann) Milhoan, Robbie Milhoan, Jeffrey Shumaker; several great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; siblings, Rosemary Boyd, John Watson; half-sister Tracey (Lloyd) Gubert; and special friend, Miriam Brubaker and family.
Friends and family are invited for visitation on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 11am to the time of service at 12pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719 with Father Dave Cornett officiating. Burial will follow to the Belmont Cemetery.
