JERRY RAY SCATTERDAY

Jerry, 78 passed away Monday October 2, 2023. He resided in Norcross and Monroe Georgia for many years. He was born to the parents of Floy Jean Pettet Scatterday and Harold Russell Scatterday. His wife Maria Amalia Scatterday preceded him in death. He was the patriarch to son John Thomas Scatterday and his extended family and also daughter Elice Sue Scatterday Brooks and granddaughter Linley Elice Brooks Spake. He also leaves brother Denny Harold Scatterday who resides on the Scatterday farm in Jacobs- burg Ohio and also B Sue Scatterday- Miller of Lake George, Fremont IN. Jerry attended Union Local High School and The Ohio State University, he had a successful career, retired as a structural engineer and was also an avid auto “tinkerer”. He loved the Scatterday farm he grew up on but stayed in Georgia due to allergies.
