MARTIN “MARTY” CAMPBELL
Martin “Marty” Wayne Campbell, 70, of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Meadows of Cadiz (formerly Carriage Inn) having Alzheimer’s/Dementia for many years.
Marty was born September 15, 1953, in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late Lawrence “Crickeye” and Minnie (Williams) Campbell.
He attended Bellaire High School, graduating with the class of 1971. He was a retired Coalminer with Consol No. 4 mine and a member of the United Mine Workers Union. Marty was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 52, the V.F.W. Auxiliary #626, Bellaire, OH.
He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and boating on his houseboat at Piedmont Lake and was a member of the Hazelwood Boat Club.
He is survived by his brother and sister- in-law, Larry E. and Debra Campbell of Bellaire; nieces, Lisa (Joe) Martin of Bellaire and Jacqueline (David) Pascoe of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; Nephew Ron (Tamara) Helms of Jacobsburg; and great nephew, Theodore (Kelsey Cottrell) Cost of Laurelville, Ohio; and great nieces, Jackie (Cody) Caldwell of Warwood; and Megan (James Wiggins) Helms of Jacobsburg; six great nieces and nephews and many Aunts and cousins from a loving family.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm at Grisell Funeral Home, 400-33rd St., Bellaire, OH.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
