ROGER BLUMLING

He was born September 14, 1954, in Bellaire, the son of Patricia Hrdlicka Blumling of Shadyside, OH, and the late Frederick G. Blumling.

He was a graduate of Bellaire High School; a retired purchasing manager from Murray Energy Corporation, having worked for over 30 years; he loved the beach; and enjoyed taking care of his yard and many palm trees, and buying and selling his cars and trucks.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Jane Blumling.

Including his mother, surviving are his wife, Judith Stopera Blumling of Myrtle Beach; two sons, Justin (Shiloh) Blumling of Harrison, OH; Jason (Kristine) Blumling of Myrtle Beach; two stepsons, Jeffrey (Veronica) Stephens of Shadyside; Scott (Laura) Stephens of Galena, OH; and seven grandchildren, Rory, Ava, Drake, Brianna, Kayla, Chloe and Dylan, three brothers, Fred Michael Blumling (Diana) of Bellaire; Jeffrey Blumling (Martha) of Myrtle Beach; and Scott Blumling (Wendy) Granville, OH.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 400 33rd St., Bellaire, with Pastor Rodney Hubbs officiating.
