SHERRY SAWCHUK

Sherry graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, where she was the head majorette, and OVMC School of Radiology. She worked as a radiology technician from 1976-1990. Sherry quickly became involved in her community, where she was also the President of the Mount Pleasant Historical Society for many years. She also belonged to Order of Eastern Star, Mount Pleasant Alumni Association, Westminster Auxiliary, and the Couples Card Club. Through her involvement in these clubs, she made many life-long friendships. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Marlene Timko.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Phillip Sawchuk, son Darrin (Jaclynn) Sawchuk, grandson Landon Sawchuk, brother-in- law Matthew Timko, sister-in-law Patsy (Robert) Stamm, niece Tamara (Bob) Burlenski, nephew Tim (Traci Hughes-Bartley) Timko, Bob (Pam) Stamm, great-nieces Monica (Christin) Mann and Mara (Dianne) Bowman- Kreptowski, great nephews Jacob and Alex Timko, and Dawson Stamm.

Friends will be received Sunday, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St, Dillonvale, OH, and then on Monday from 10 am till time of service at 11 am, with Rev. Lorraine Dill officiating. Internment following at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Pleasant Historical Society, at PO Box 119, Mt Pleasant, Ohio 43939.
