JAMES HOLUB
James Robert Holub, 88, of Glencoe, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Emerald Pointe Nursing Home, Barnesville, Ohio. Jim was born December 11, 1935 in Glencoe, a son of the late Steve and Mildred McVickers Holub.
Jim was a retired employee Met-tech in Cambridge, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Holub; three sisters, Marge Spoon, Louise Helms and Linda Phillips.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Linda K. Preston Holub of Glencoe; his children, Robert E. (Stacy) Holub of Belmont, Ohio, Gary L. (Sarah) Holub of Christiana, Tennessee, Vicki D. (Otto) Rumskey of Stewartsville, Ohio and Karen A. (Wayne) Hurd of Morganton, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Dustin McGarry, Mitchell McGarry, Sam Branch, Gary Andrew Holub, Robert J. Holub and Otto Eric Rumskey; six great grandchildren, MaeLynn Rumskey, Roxanne Rumskey, Aria Rumskey, Jacob Holub, Hunter Holub and Eva Holub; a step great granddaughter, Easton Devoy; two sisters, Rose Merryman of Bellaire, Ohio and Irene Clark of Charlotte, North Carolina.
As per his wishes, no visitation or services are planned.
