STELLA DWYER
Stella Michelle Sue (Mitchell) Dwyer, 53 of Rayland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, December 19, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She fought a hard fight, but it was more than she could stand.
She was born April 29, 1970, the daughter of Juanita Mitchell of Yorkville and the late Robert A. Mitchell, Sr.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparent.
She is survived by her husband Charles D. Dwyer, sons, Jeremy (Ronni) Dwyer of Rayland and Nathanial Dwyer at home, her mother, Juanita Mitchell of Yorkville, brothers, Bob Mitchell of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Charles “Buddy” Mitchell, and Adam (Tammy) Mitchell both of Martins Ferry, her sister, Gretchen (Michael) Helms of Rayland, grandsons, Ryder, Lane and Cash Dwyer of Rayland, her fur babies, and her best friend Tammy (Frank) Krapa of Brilliant, Ohio, along with many nieces and nephews and beloved friends.
Michelle was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Martins Ferry where she participated in several groups of the church over the years. She was a Notary Public for over 25 years and was currently employed as a surgical Technician at the WVU/Medicine — Wheeling Hospital for the last 8 years. Michelle has worked many jobs and has been involved in different organizations and clubs.
Her passions were for her kids and grandkids, spending as much time with them as possible. She loved the water, swimming, boating, and the beach.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 with Funeral Services at 6pm with her brother Adam Mitchell officiating, at the Wilson Funeral Home — Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935.
