DONALD ZINNI

He was born December 9, 1936, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Dan and Frances (Pielech) Zinni.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann (Miller) Zinni.

Don was involved with the OVAC for many years. He was a football coach, football official, and ultimately, the OVAC Football Commissioner. Don was principal for Buckeye Local Schools for many years and was a lifelong member of St. Lucy Catholic Church.

He is survived by two sons, David (Natalie) Zinni and Daniel (Jill) Zinni; his daughter, Donna (Michael) Todoroff; a sister, Joyce (Jerry) Baiocco; seven grandchildren Steven (Kaleen) Todoroff, Marissa (Garrett) LaBrosse, Lauren Zinni, Kristin Zinni, Tyler (Lyndsey) Zinni, Tanner (Suzie) Zinni and Trip Zinni; three great-grandchildren, Grace and Lily LaBrosse and Dimitri Todoroff and one on the way.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Don and celebrate his life on Thursday, January 11th, from 2-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with a vigil service at 4:30, with Father William Cross.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Friday 10 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH, with Father William Cross officiating.
