Beloved mother of Lisa (Mike) Jarosh of Baldwin, Betsy (Lew) Chumich, of Boise, ID, and Daniel (Traci) Wood of Edmond, OK; cherished grandmother of Brian (Anna) Iannacchione, Benjamen (Renee) Iannacchione, Whitney (David) Collins, Maria (Sean Truver) Jarosh, Dominic (Bridget McGarrey) Chumich, Andrew Chumich, Sophia Chumich and Cody (Lindsey) Wood; devoted great-grand mother of Salvatore, Santino, Luie, Emma, Scarlett and Copper; daughter of the late Alvin Godfrey Archibald and Elizabeth Ellen Piatt; sister of the late Alma Jean Shaver and Betty Ellen Bell; longtime companion of Phil Ambler. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Jerry was very dedicated to her family and took great joy in her grandchildren and great-grand children. She was an avid reader and satisfied her curiosities with her many questions. Jerry made friends with whoever she encountered and always had a listening ear. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. for a memorial visitation.
