RICHARD “RICH” BELL
Richard “Rich” Bell, 82, of Shadyside, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at the Reynolds Memorial Hospital WVU Medicine in Glen Dale, West Virginia.
He was born June 25, 1941in Bellaire, Ohio a son to the late J. Prentice and Helen E. (Harbourt) Bell.
He was a Presbyterian by faith and worked as a Senior Laboratory Technician until his retirement at Bayer. He was also a proud Veteran having served in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy “Roy” Bell.
Rich is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Clyburn) Bell, children, David (Lil) Bell, Matt (Kim) Bell, Becky (Rob) Tucker, Kenny (Cathy) Whorton, David (Lori) Whorton, Steve Whorton, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchil- dren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm with Reverend Ronald Wilfong officiating. Additional visitation to follow until 5:00pm. Full military honors will be given at 12:45pm by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
