BETTY STRONG
Betty Virginia Strong passed away on February 12, 2024 at the Shadyside Care Center.
She was born on May 18, 1924 to the late Graden Yates, Sr. and Grace Hinds Yates.
She was a Methodist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, and her son, and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Mitzi Strong; brother, Graden (Daisy) Yates Jr., and her sister, Rilla Mae (Richard) Thuring and nephew, Richard Thuring, Jr.
She is survived by her nephew, Clyde (Sandy) Yates, her nieces, Linda Yates and Connie Thuring; her grand-niece, Tina (Victor) Exner, grand-nephews, Clyde (Kim) Yates and Zachary Thuring.
Family and friends will be received at Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Home 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Seth Filburn officiating. Burial will follow at Belmont Memorial Cemetery – Richland, OH.
