DOLORES J. VUCELICH
Dolores Jean Vucelich, 84, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024, at the Rolling Hills Retirement Center in Bridgeport. She was born May 28, 1939, in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Joseph and Annette (Frey) Simoncic.
Dolores devoted her life to education, she retired after 30 years of service with the Bellaire City School District, 22 years at Neffs Elementary School and 8 years at Gravel Hill School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Pete “Salty” Vucelich.
Left to cherish her memory are her only brother, Jerry Simoncic of Bridgeport, nephew, Christopher Simoncic, niece, Jacqueline Eater, grandnieces, Chloe, and Kirkland Eater.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 4-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 2, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 630 Main St. Bridgeport at 10am with Fr. John Mucha officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
