DORIS WOODS
Doris Wilma Woods, 97, of Wheeling, WV formerly of St. Clairsville, OH passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Shadyside Healthcare Center. She was born February 2, 1927, in Rayland, OH daughter of the late William and Amelia Karkoska Johnston.
Doris was a homemaker and a member of the Thoburn United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Edward Woods; granddaughter, Erica Smith; and three sisters, Edith Long, Nancy Johnston, and Betty Shaffer.
She is survived by her two children, Edward Allen (Kate) Woods of Wheeling, WV, and Kathy (Alan) Tracy of St. Clairsville, OH; a grandson, Ryan (Dene) Woods of Hilliard, OH; and two great-grandsons, Gaige and Barrett Woods.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville with Rev. David St. Aubin officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Thoburn United Methodist Church or the Leukemia Society.
