Lloyd is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Kathleen “Kay” (McCort) Mallett; his daughter Teresa Dolan and her husband Patrick, of Worthington, OH; his daughter Diane Mallett-Birkitt, of Bristol, TN; his daughter Laura L. Mallett, of Blacklick, OH; his daughter Denise Mallett, of Hollywood, MD; his grandson Benjamin Birkitt and his fiance Ashley Winslow, of Richmond, VA; his granddaughter Nadia Birkitt, of Bristol, TN; his granddaughter Elizabeth Varner, of Greensburg, PA; his grandson Ryan Mallett, of Hollywood, MD; and his cousin, Nancy Krueger, of Cleveland, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Irene Mallett; his sister Ellen Robinson and her husband Harold; and his son-in-law Dr. Glenn H. Birkitt, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. Mary’s Church in St. Clairsville, OH, followed by interment at St. Clairsville Union Cemetery. Condolences will be received at the church at 10 a.m. prior to Mass at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to return to the church for a luncheon in Marian Hall after completion of the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lloyd’s honor to St. Andrew Catholic Church in Columbus, OH; St. Mary’s Church in St. Clairsville, OH; or The James Cancer Hospital Lymphoma Research Fund.
