MAE STEWART
Mabel Jean “Mae” Stewart of St. Clairsville, OH passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. She was born in Amsterdam, OH., a daughter of the late Fred and Iva Mae Bogard Milan.
Mae was a retired bookkepper and secretary for Doctors office. Mae worked the Bingo Games for many years and was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles F. Milan and William A. Milan; a sister, Rose Marie Ankrom.
Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years, Franklin M. Stewart of St. Clairsville; two sisters, Stella Mae Gettys of Mortan, IL and Mary R. Kapisosky of Sandusky, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy with Mass on Wednesday at 11 am at St. Marys Catholic Church, St. Clairsville with Fr. Thomas Chillog as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
