Mavourneen “Mav” Bonar 95, of Marietta, OH., passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at Lancaster House in Marietta. She was born February 2, 1929 in Pultney, OH to the late Lawrence Ensel and Mary Liston Hartley. ‘Mav” was a beautician and managed Charm Beauty Salon for 45 years, she was a 60 year member of Harmar Hill Church of Christ and enjoyed quilting, being in the local canasta club and attending numerous ball games supporting her late husband. She is survived by her three children, Bill Bonar (Ann), Lisa Burkhart (Denny) and Amy Potter (Don); six grandchildren, Jessica McIntosh (Justin), Nick Shotwell (Kristin), Daniel Burkhart (Corah), Sarah Plasters (Brian), Andy Bonar (Audrey), Rachel Hansley (Matt); 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Lee Bonar. 2 brothers Ensel and Dale and 2 sisters Wanda and Nelda. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta, OH., with J.D. Conley officiating. burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
