WILLIAM KUTHY, SR.

He was born March 23, 1948, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late William Kuthy and Helen Skolnik Kuthy.

Bill was a retired general contractor. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and a member of the Knights of Columbus #4243. Bill was a member and past president of Lewis Wetzel Gun Club and a life member of the Moundsville Rifle and Pistol Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William “B.J.” Kuthy Jr.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Martin Kuthy; his daughter, Kristi (Ryan) Polone; two stepsons, Mark (Sandi) Cline and Martin (Beth) Cline; two brothers, Joseph Kuthy and Paul (Kim) Kuthy; a sister, Mary Ann (Terry) Wright; seven grand- children, Wyatt Cline, Jack Cline, Mitchell (Jenny) Jones, Shay (Matt) Jones, Zane Holyak, Hunter Kuthy and Dustin Polone; a great granddaughter, Abigail; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Feb. 28th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where visitation will continue Thursday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Father Thomas Chillog as the celebrant. The burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
