ELSIE DUFF
Elsie Elizabeth Duff, 81, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on March 15, 2024 after battling cancer.
She was born in Warnock, Ohio, daughter of the late James Wesley Hall and Elizabeth Belyk Hall. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Don Duff in 2015.
Elsie was retired from the Belmont County Department of Jobs and Family Services. She was a Christian by faith and was a member of East Richland Friends Church. Elsie loved being a Grammy, walking, trips to Amish Country, and made the best apple pie.
Surviving Elsie are her three daughters, Kim Skukan (Jack) of Moundsville, Shelli Duff of St. Clairsville and Kellie Sharp (Chris) of Barnesville; her grandchildren, Haylee Skukan (Dan) of Columbus, Colton Skukan (Laken) of Martins Ferry; great granddaughter, Emerson Skukan of Martins Ferry; sisters, Alice DeSantola (Gary) of Leesburg, Florida, and Nancy Hall of St. Clairsville.
Honoring Elsie’s wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
