IRENE STURNIOLO

Irene lived a fulfilling life and was blessed with 96 years on this earth.

She was born on September 14, 1927, in Barton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica (Timko) Kubic.

In her professional life, Irene dedicated herself as a bookkeeper for Clifford Motors. Her meticulous work ethic and attention to detail were truly commendable.

Outside of work, Irene found joy in being a member of AARP and engaging with various interests that brought her happiness. She especially enjoyed her time at the Senior Center.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Philip Sturniolo, and her siblings Joseph, Peter, James, Michael, Albert, Ann Short, Margaret ‘Peggy’ Ryan, Helen Kubic, Veronica Masserano, and Mary “Honey” Borns.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will continue to cherish her memory.

Family and friends will be received at CARE Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main St., St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with a short service of remembrance and celebration of life at noon. Entombment will take place in Holly Memorial Garden’s Mausoleum.

Irene Sturniolo will be remembered for her kindness, grace, and the love she shared with her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
