Robert Joseph Pirozak, age 96, of Kirkwood Heights, Bridgeport, Ohio passed from this life on March 11, 2024, at WVU Morgantown Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born on February 10, 1928, in Piney Fork, Ohio to parents Thomas J. Pirozak and Mary A. Bodish.

Bob grew up in Bridgeport, Ohio and graduated from Bridgeport High School. Bob was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps and served in World War II. Bob was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Bricklayers Union. He was a Catholic by faith.

Bob was a jack of all trades. His expertise was tile setting and he eventually owned his own company.

Bob married the love of his life, Marilyn Wyckoff on September 11, 1954. He and his wife of 69 years renovated and restored 3 homes in St. Clairsville, on Seneca Lake, and their present Victorian farmhouse in Kirkwood Heights. His talents are also present in the homes of his children.

Bob enjoyed life. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating at Seneca Lake with family and friends. He was a hard worker and always had a new project. He was a people person; he never met a stranger. He was always willing to help. But most of all, Bob loved and cherished his family. He loved family gatherings and celebrations.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Tommy, his sister Rosemary, and his granddaughter Gloria.

Left to treasure his memory are his children Michelle (Brian) Dawes, Erin (Cork) Pirozak-Lillick, and Kirk Pirozak; his grandchildren Rebecca (Dustin) Kinsey, Che Pirozak-Lillick, Vendela Pirozak, Elijah Pirozak; great-grandchildren Liliana Kinsey, Alexander Kinsey, and Eli Pirozak.

The family is grateful for God’s blessings in his life, and thankful for his care at WVU Hospitals. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
