VIRGINIA NEELY
Virginia Mary “Ginny” Neely, age 82 of Glen Easton, WV died Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.
She was born July 16, 1941 in providence, RI, the daughter of the late Francis Earl and Lillian Doyle Baxter.
She was a retired nursing assistant from Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital; a catholic by faith; enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; and loved flowers, birds and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Neely; and two brothers, George and Barry Baxter.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelly (Timothy) Wright of Cameron, WV, and Christy (Jason Carmichael) Neely of Wheeling; a sister, Carol Donovan of CA; six grandchildren, Emily, Travis, Kyle and Hunter Wright, and Georgia and Jayden Carmichael; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the friends and staff at the Welty Home.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12noon at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Pastor Doug Richardson officiating.
Interment in Salem Cemetery, Glen Easton.
