In Loving Memory of Debbie McKeegan

With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Debbie McKeegan on March 31, 2024, at her cherished home in Yorkville, Ohio. Born on August 3, 1953, in Bloomfield, New Jersey, Debbie was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her 70 years.

Debbie leaves behind her devoted husband of 48 years, James R. McKeegan, a testament to their enduring love. She was a beloved mother to Melanie Lawley (Dan) and James McKeegan (Sarah), and an adored grandmother to Dylan, Owen, Elle, Kate, and Connor. Her love and lessons will continue to guide them.

She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Liggett and Judy Picinich and a vast extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched deeply. Debbie’s warmth, generosity, and spirit will be profoundly missed by all.

Debbie’s life was a beautiful example of unwavering dedication to her family. Her memory will forever be a source of strength and comfort to those who knew her.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will commence with a viewing at Borkoski Funeral Home in Tiltonsville, Ohio, on Monday, April 8th, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a vigil service at 4:30, with Father William Cross. Funeral Liturgy with Mass Funeral Mass will be Tuesday April 9th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Holly Memorial. A luncheon in the church basement will follow at approximately 1:30 PM.

Debbie’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. Rest in peace, Debbie. You will forever be in our hearts.
