NICHOLAS BUMBICO
Nicholas “Nick” F. Bumbico, Jr., 83, of Lansing, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Bridgeport, Ohio.
He was born June 5, 1940 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Scarfo) Bumbico.
Nick dedicated 17 years to proudly owning and operating Bumbico’s Sunoco Station in Bridgeport, Ohio. He was a Catholic by faith and an Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith Ann Bumbico, second wife, Linda Bumbico, and son, Bryan (Jenean) Bumbico.
He is survived by his daughter, Marybeth Waleisky, stepdaughters, Lori DePoe Nixon, Michelle DePoe, brother, Anthony “Skip” Bumbico, grandchildren, Leann (Matt) Sall, Braxton (Katlyn) Waleisky, Peightyn Bumbico, Abby Bumbico, and great-granddaughter, Kaylie Sall.
Family and friends may be received at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 204 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday, April 26, from 10:00am to 11:00am. Full military honors starting at the Funeral Home at 11:00am by the Belmont County Veterans Association. Chapel service will be at 11:45am with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
