JEANNIE PELKEY
Donna Jean Pelkey, 61, of Belmont, Ohio died Monday May 20, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born April 24, 1963, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Alvin L. Shunk and Donna Marie Davis Shunk.
Jeannie worked as a cook at Burger King.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Eugene Pelkey in 2018; a brother, Donald Shunk; and a sister, Penny Shunk.
She is survived by her foster son, Jonathan Murphy; a brother, Jerry (Robin) Shunk; sisters, Suzie (Dale) Roush, and Frances Kate (Larry) Shunk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Jeannie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
