LOIS WRIGHT
Lois E. “Sue” (Winslow) Wright, formerly of Elm Grove, WV and Jacobsburg, OH died Thursday, May 9, 2024 in Willow Brook at Delaware Run, Delaware, Ohio.
She was born in Wheeling, WV; the daughter of the late Robert and Amelia Marik Winslow.
She was a graduate of Warwood High School; a receptionist in the medical field; a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Shadyside, Ohio; and was well-known for selling pies and homegrown produce at the Ohio Valley Farmers Market in Bellaire.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Melvin “Mel” Wright; one sister, Virginia Castle; and one brother, Bob Winslow.
Survivors include two daughters, Chris (Bill) Davis of Radnor, OH, Melissa Shores of Barboursville, WV; one grandson, Matthew Horton of Shadyside, OH; two sisters, Dorothy Paul of Clyde, New York, Carol Stein of Bellaire; many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8pm and Friday from 10am until the time of service at 12noon at New Life Fellowship Church, 365 W. 36th St., Shadyside, OH 43947, with Pastor Joel Traylor officiating.
Private graveside services will be held at Bethel Cemetery, Jacobsburg, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the New Life Fellowship Church, Shadyside.
