PHYLLIS DODDS
Phyllis Geneva Dodds, 95, of St.Clairsville, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Trinity Medical Center, Ohio Valley Hospice, Steubenville Ohio.
She was born on November 15, 1928 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Victor and Freda (Blake) Williams.
Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of the former Trinity Episcopal Church in Bellaire.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dodds on November 23, 1995; children; Gerald E. “Dube” Dodds, Harold “Fuzz” Dodds, and Christine Covington; siblings; Harriett Hurd, Victor Williams, Minnie Campbell, and Marcella Vinka.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Shunk, Daniel (Heather) Covington, Krystal (Doug) D’Aquila, Ryan (Tara) Dodds, great-grand- children; Derek (Louisa) Shunk, Jolyn Shunk, Taylor Covington, Cole Covington, Hunter Covington, Chase Covington, Hannah D’Aquila, Luca D’Aquila, Aubrielle Dodds, and Taryn Dodds, as well as great-great grandchildren; Isabella and Scarlett Shunk, and a daughter in law, Brenda Dodds.
Per Phyllis’ wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held in Holly Memorial Gardens, Friday, May 31st at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Phyllis at TMCFunding.com.
