CHARLES SCHOLZ

He was born on September 30, 1955, in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late John and Genevieve (Springborn) Scholz. Charlie was a devoted father who took pride in taking care of his family until his very last day. He retired from UPS after 35 years of service. He enjoyed drag racing, vacationing at the beach and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Charlie is survived by his adored wife of 46 years, Tracy (Thomas) Scholz; son, Matt (Philita) Scholz (Pataskala, OH); daughter, Kylie Scholz (Denver, CO); brother, Phil (Carla) Scholz (Canton, OH); brother/sisters-in-law, Cindy (Pat) Stevens (Fort Worth, TX), John (Sue) Thomas (San Diego, CA), Roxanne Montgomery (Ft. Myers, FL); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Per his wishes, his family will hold a private ceremony at the beach to honor his memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road., Brookside.
