RICHARD SMITH
Richard A. Smith, 71, formally of Martins Ferry, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Meadows of Cadiz Nursing Home. He was born February 13th, 1953, in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, James R. Smith and Lois “Jeanie” Smith, as well as his brother James R. Smith Jr.
He is survived by Beth Butler, the mother of his children whom are, Cory (Astin) Smith and Hilary (Clay Francis) Smith. As well as his three grandchildren, Westin smith, Alaire Smith and Brielle Francis; three sisters, Darla (Ken) Mitchell, Rhonda (Dayle) Conaway and Melissa (Greg) Malesky.
The family appreciates the comforting care of the Meadows Of Cadiz and Amedisys.
There will be no visitation, however, graveside services will be held at a later date for family members.
