THOMAS HENTHORN
Thomas J. Henthorn 88 of Bridgeport passed away Friday June 21, 2024, at his home. He was born September 18, 1935, in Wheeling, a son of the late Robert and Pearl (Burkett) Henthorn.
He was a retired employee for Bayer Corporation, a Methodist by faith, Tom was a printer for the Ogden News Paper. He was a long-time referee of Football, and Basketball, and he is in the Hall of Fame, also an avid Steeler Fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Gail Lee (Coss) Henthorn, brothers Robert, Dave and James Henthorn.
Tom is survived by his daughters Rae Henthorn-Bowman of Bridgeport, Beth (Mike) Thomas of Wheeling, Janine (David) Brothers of St. Clairsville, and Erica (Mark) Terek of Cleveland, seven grandchildren Whitney (Jeff) Martin, Alex and Michael Thomas, Wesley and Breanna Brothers, and Brandon, and Addyson Terek, four great grandchildren Jackson, Mason, Carter, and Mia, also his 3 buddies Scruffy, Lou-Lou, and Jack, and his cat buddies.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday June 28, 2024, from 4-8 pm, where services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon with Stacey Agnew officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
