DONALD HERINK

He was born on March 16, 1946, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late James and Beatrice Herink.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his loving wife Myra (Sommer) Herink of Brookside, OH and sister Shirley (Herink) Krajnyak of Martins Ferry, OH.

Myra was his high school sweetheart and they wed in October of 1966. He was also known as ‘Butch’ to many friends and family and will be fondly remembered as ‘Papa Don’ by his grandchildren.

Don is survived by a son, Jeff (Chris) Herink, a daughter Pam (Mike) McGrath; his grandchildren, Zachary Herink, Matthew Herink, Kevin & Meleah (Tiber) Herink and Bailey McGrath; brothers-in-law, Bill (Patty) Sommer and Jay (Maria) Sommer; along with many nieces & nephews.

A private service with be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, OH. 43912.
