MICHAEL VAN NEST

Michael O. Van Nest, 68, of Piedmont, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 9, 1955, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Robert and Charlotte Jean (Bomboris) Van Nest.

Mike was a graduate of the Belmont County JVS. He was a self-employed carpenter by trade. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Van Nest.

Mike is survived by his sisters, Terra McEndree and Pamela (Dave) Harvey; brothers, Harry Van Nest and Shon Van Nest; aunt, Josephine Howes; nephews, Derek McEndree, Shon McEndree, Dylan Miller, Robbie Miller, and Matthew Van Nest; nieces, Erica Van Nest and Kari Van Nest; and brother-in-law, Michael McEndree.

Honoring Mike’s wishes no services will be held. Mike’s care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
