RONALD “RON” POLLOCK
Ronald (Ron) Keith Pollock, age 71, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 1, 2024, at his home in St. Clairsville, OH. Born March 16, 1953, the son of the late John C. and Rose (Pempek) Pollock. He was preceded in death by both parents, sisters Louise Strauss, Karen Moore, and Marsha Zupko, and brother Jack Pollock.
Ron graduated from Warren Consolidated High School in 1971. He worked as an overhead crane operator at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Yorkville, OH from 1972 to 2007.
Ron is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Pamela “Pam” (Zinn) and by his three children, Kara (Chad) Hall, Glen Easton, WV, and Ronald (Christina) Pollock II, Hudson, OH, and Eric Pollock, Flushing, OH. He is also survived by sisters, Rosalie Dlesk of Wheeling WV, Sandra (Dave) Brothers of St. Clairsville, OH, Patty (Lou) Krol of Yorkville, OH, Janice Pollock of St. Clairsville, OH; and brother Robert (Connie) Pollock of Martins Ferry, OH; and seven grandchildren.
Ron was a loving husband, a good man, and had a strong faith in Christ. He enjoyed fishing, birdwatching, listening to classic rock, and singing.
