BENJAMIN EBBERT

He was born December 17, 1936 in St. Clairsville, OH a son of the late Charles and Mary (Griffith) Ebbert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Marcella “Marcie” Ebbert; a daughter, Karen Hoppin; siblings, Charles, Teresa, Alice, Jerome, Thomas, Raymond and James Ebbert.

Surviving are his children, Michael Ebbert, Mary Beth (Kenny) Janiszewski, Marcie (Dennis) Quagliani, Jill (Jay) Heroux: Grandchildren, Kaylee and Ketler Hoppin, Benjamin, Christopher, Olivia and Emily Quagliani, Trey, Karissa and Kaleb Janiszewski, Alex, Zack and Nick Heroux; and a sister Mary Jane “Janie” Weidman.

Family and friends will be received at the Care Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950 on Sunday September 15, from 4 PM to 7 PM with a vigil service at 4 PM. Visitation will also be on Monday September 16th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, OH from 9:30 AM until time of funeral liturgy with mass at 10:30 AM with Fr. Thomas Chillog as celebrant. Interment will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Lafferty,OH.
