LAWRENCE SCHAFER

He was born in Wheeling, WV on April 6, 1938, he was the son of the late Lawrence L. and Helen C. (Williams) Schafer.

He was a retired electrician at Former Blaw-Knox Wheeling, WV.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church Martins Ferry, OH.

He served in the US Army.

In addition to his wife, Dolores Ann (Miller) he is survived by two daughters, Lisa M. (George) Angalich and Karen Lynn (Michael) Teater; five grandchildren, Matthew Angalich, Joshua Angalich, Nathan (Noemi) Teater, Christopher Teater, Megan (Mason) Shumard, sister, Rosemary(Louis) Civin,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Halenar and Laura Smith; nephew, Kirk Halenar.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, where friends will be received Thursday , September 5, 2024 from 10:30 until 11;30 Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, OH. at 12 Noon on Thursday September 5, 2024 with Rev. Tom Marut as the celebrant.

Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove, OH.
