MARY KOPYAR
Mary Gloria Rose (Busack) Kopyar, 85 of Martins Ferry, Ohio passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 29, 1939, in Bellaire, Ohio the daughter of the late Pete and Rose (Imbrosio) Busack.
She was a wonderful wife, extraordinary and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. “The Best Mom & Wife Ever!”
Mary worked at Bonds Bread and Busack IGA. She was a fabulous cook and baker and enjoyed nature. She was a dedicated member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, and a member of the choir.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bernard F. Kopyar; three children; Theresa (Art) Hanson; Tony (Tammy) Kopyar, Joell (Darrin) Kopyar Thompson; grandchildren; Lacey Ronevich, Derien Thompson, Sophie, Saddie, and Savannah Kopyar and two great-granddaughters, Gionna, and Nadia.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio 43912. Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 6, 2024, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain, 72581 Colerain Rd., Colerain Ohio 43916, from 10 till time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11am, with Fr. Thomas Chillog and Fr. Dale Tornes, con celebrating. Luncheon will be served after interment. Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
