SHIRLEY HOFFMAN

She was born August 7, 1929 in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late Franklin Blair and Susan May Fry McAninch.

Shirley was a manager at Hills Department Store from 1974-1984, a Homemaker, and a member of the Elm Grove United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Dale Hoffman; an infant son: David Hoffman; four brothers: Franklin Jr, James, Donald, and Robert McAninch; four sisters: Dorothy Pezl, Helen Nagler, Manilla Scheehle and Sally Redinger.

Survivors include two sons: Dale (Lois Sine) Hoffman, Jr of Wheeling and Robert (Sarah Jackson) Hoffman of Martins Ferry, OH; one daughter: Lisa Hoffman (Dr. John “J.J.” MD) Templeton of Triadelphia, WV; a very special granddaughter: Dana (Roger) Bieniek- Schier of Switzerland; other grandchildren: Angelica Isis and Alexandria JonDale Templeton, Jeff, Jason, Robert Jr, and John Hoffman; six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat Sammy.

There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
