VIRGINIA “GINNY” BAKER

She is survived by her children, Bill (Vicki) Baker III, Marlene (Reg) Pitt, Jenell (John) DeVaul, Dave (Michele) Baker, Tom (Margo) Baker and Lisa (Doug) Dockus; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; sister, Peach (Raymond) Doughty; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 78 years, William E. Baker, Jr. who she vowed to take care of after his debilitating stroke in 2018 until his death on July 3, 2024; and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Private family services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Brucker-Bak- er Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store, 135 Wilson St., Newark, OH 43055.
