Dolores Jean Cost, 70, born on October 19, 1953, in Warwood, WV, passed away on October 18, 2024, at WVU Medicine-Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
Dolores dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, retiring from her career with WVU Medicine.
Dolores found immense joy in her role as a grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren and her cats and loved spending time at the beach.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn (Minkemeyer) and Harry Rose; daughter, Heather Cost; grandson, Landen Cost and her ex-husband, Mark Cost.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Laura) Cost; son, Lance (Pam) Cost and treasured grandchildren, Delilah, Addison, Matthew, Laynee, Makenna, Elijah, Malachi Cost and Nadaviah Shiloh. She is also survived by her companion of 35 years, Wayne Jody Rector.
