DUANE NEWELL

Duane was born December 8, 1949 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late William Ike and Gail Myrtle (Schramm) Newell.

He was a Methodist by faith and attended the Bellaire First Christian Methodist Church.

Duane was a proud Navy Veteran.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, looking for morel mushrooms and arrowheads, hiking, taking long car rides, and watching WWE wrestling every Monday and Friday night.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Bill Newell, Gail Marie Worley, Dick Newell, and Donald Newell.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Melissa Newell, Lisa (Frank Cika) Newell, Darla Newell, Cassandra (Adam Shoemaker); grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Gavin, Abigail, Brayonah, Alayah; great- grandson, Gunnar; brothers, Charles Newell, Bert Newell; sister, Debbie Swift; several nieces and nephews.

Per Duane’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 441 37th Street, Bellaire Ohio.
