JEANETTE DAVIS
Jeanette Ann Shutler Davis 84, of Martins Ferry passed away Sunday September 29, 2024, at Shadyside Care Center. She was born July 22, 1940, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Herbert and Rita (Klug) Shutler.
She was a retired employee of Shutler’s IGA in Martins Ferry, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she was on the luncheon committee, and the Martins Ferry Elks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Roy J. Davis Sr. in 2018.
Jeanette is survived by her sons Roy J. (Kathy) Davis Jr. of Wheeler, IL and John (Mila) Davis of Martins Ferry, a brother Clement (Nancy) Shutler of Moundsville, also several grandchildren and great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St Martins Ferry, on Friday October 4, 2024, from 2 till 6 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am with Fr. Tom Marut as celebrant, interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Martins Ferry. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 30181-8018.
