CAROLYN BAILEY
Carolyn “Charlene” Bailey, 83, passed away peacefully in Grove City, OH, on Dec 19, 2024. She was born on Jan 4, 1941 to the late Carlos and Hester (Yoho) Neiswonger.
Charlene was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a teacher’s aide for Union Local Schools. She was a Christian who attended the Bethesda Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and doing crafts. Charlene loved children. She was a foster parent for many years. She loved spending time with her family & friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear husband, Vernon Bailey; a granddaughter, Holly Kasler; brothers, Gerald and Walter Neiswonger; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Bailey.
Surviving are sons, Richard (Karen) Bailey, Kenneth (Alice) Bailey; grandchildren, Courtney (Joe) Creekbaum, Tadd (Virginia) Bailey, Kai (Tanner) Kern, Kait (Donald) Krenek, Ethan Bailey (Elizabeth Bacon), Owen (Chloe) Bailey, Cassie (Robert) Dearth, Brandon (Anna) Kasler; great-grandchildren, Carter, Chloe, Quinn, Addison, Avery, Audree, Desmond, Eva, Oliver, Winston, Vivienne; brothers, Lanny (Shirley) Neiswonger, Dallas (Lois) Neiswonger.
Charlene was buried at Ebenezer Cemetery. All family & friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on her birthday, Jan. 4, 2025, from 5 p.m. to the time of service at 7 p.m. at the Bethesda Methodist Church, 233 N. Main St., Bethesda, OH, 43719. Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, is assisting the family.
