RAY MAC ALISTER
Ray Mac Alister, 80, of Yorkville, OH, passed away, Monday, December 23, 2024, at his home, with his family by his side.
He was born on November 9, 1944, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late John and Iris (Dunning) Mac Alister.
Ray retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He was involved with Warren Township Baseball and the Mountaineer Baseball Organization for many years. Ray loved to travel and go to the Casino’s in his spare time.
Ray is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat (Auber) Mac Alister; two sons, Brian (Catherine) Mac Alister and Ray (Jennifer) Mac Alister; his daughter, Tricia Fetty; a brother, John (Lois) Mac Alister; three sisters, Gaye (Joel) Allen, Evelyn (Fritz) Schaudies and Debbie (Bucky) Saus; five grandchildren, Brian Mac Alister II, Danny Fetty, RD Mac Alister, Devin Fetty and Jenna Mac Alister and two great-grandchildren, Bristol and Abram Mac Alister.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Ray and celebrate his life on Sunday, December 29th, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH and on Monday from 10 am until the time of service of 11 am, at the funeral home, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.
