CLARA MAKUCH
Clara Makuch, 91, of Pickerington, Ohio, formerly of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025. She was born on July 5, 1933, a daughter of the late Daniel and Irene (Toza) Vargo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John “Jonah” Makuch; son, John Craig Makuch; brothers Daniel Richard Vargo and Robert “Pete” Vargo; and sister Velma (Degrava) Hauner.
Clara is survived by her daughter Michele (Scott) Wetterau; son, Mark (Mia) Makuch; granddaughters Jessica and Jenna Makuch; grandsons Marcus, Joshua, Tyler (Sarah) Makuch and Matthew (Makuch) Roshak; great grandsons Remington Harrison, Jaxson and Maxwell Makuch and great granddaughter Mila Makuch.
Clara retired as a Secretary from Valley Distributing. She was also a member of the St. Adalbert Church where she was a lector. Clara loved baking and cooking for her family, playing cards, dancing at the American Legion and ‘going out’ with Jenna and her friends ‘living it up’. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her weekly Sunday donut with Josh.
Private services at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH 43917. Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
