SCOTT PALMER

Scott Ray Palmer, 60, of Shadyside, Ohio passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

He was born September 7, 1964 in Fontana, California to the late Delcie (Scott) Palmer and Eugene (Helen) Palmer.

Scott was a proud graduate of Shadyside High School, class of 1982. Following his high school education, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1983 to 1989. During his service, he was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment to his duties.

After his military service, Scott pursued a career as an electrician and became a respected member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 141 in Wheeling, West Virginia. His hard work and craftsmanship were admired by colleagues and clients alike.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Greg Driscoll.

Scott is survived by siblings, Penny (Mark) Kenamond, Lori (Tom Bogus) Palmer, Patty Palenicek, Rosy (Gerry) Mendelson, Fred (Elaine) Reitberger, many nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio and are at the convenience of the family.
