WILLIAM AMICI
William ‘Bill’ Columbo Amici, beloved husband of Denise, passed away peacefully with his family around him on Friday, February 7, 2025. Bill was the loving dad to two daughters, an amazing grandpa or ‘Gpa’ to three wonderful grandsons and one lovely granddaughter, and the fun and cherished ‘Papap’ to five great- grandchildren.
Bill was born on April 7, 1937, the baby of eight children born to Basilio and Antonia Amici of Glencoe, Ohio. As high school sweethearts, Bill Amici and Denise Sadowski (of Bellaire, Ohio) were married at 19 years of age at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bellaire, Ohio, on August 11, 1956. Bill and Denise built a life together in Garden City, Michigan, where Denise still resides today.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Denise, his two daughters and their families, and his sisters Lola Olexa and Elva Atkinson.
